More than a handful of countries in eastern Europe are still recovering from dictatorships, ethnic conflict and slow economic progress, Mission of Mercy has developed 8 successful in the region to reach forgotten child who otherwise would fail to survive and thrive in such harsh conditions. With 1 child development center, 5 children's homes, and 2 schools, the projects in the region fill a great need. This success is evident in the support from local families witnessing the affect these projects have had on life in their communities. These countries are:
