 Dr. David Dalton serves as a Ministry Representative for Mission of Mercy, a child sponsorship organization working with over 36,000 children in 22 countries around the world. Through child sponsorship, Mission of Mercy is helping children break the cycle of poverty and bring the hope of Jesus to children in desperate circumstances.
Prior to joining Mission of Mercy, Dr. Dalton served as pastor of the Wanchese Assembly of God Church for fourteen years. While serving as pastor, the church was a recognized leader in missions giving and involvement around the world with approximately 90 Missionary and Missions entities being supported monthly. He has led many impact teams in ministry and construction to various and remote parts of the world.
Dr. Dalton has a sensitive heart toward the pastoral constituency and seeks to minister to pastors with understanding, appreciation, and resources. In addition to his duties with Mission of Mercy, Dr. Dalton leads a team of educators, professionals, and pastors designing a premier accredited Continuing Education program illustrating his ongoing gratitude toward ministers.
David resides in Raleigh, NC with His wife Ruth. They have two daughters, Olivia and Kristen.
