The family's only source of light is an oil lamp and meals are cooked using a wood fire. Devnandan's father earns very little income as a farmer. He is grateful Devnandan is enrolled at the Sungi Child Development Center where he is receiving supplemental meals and medical screenings in a safe and loving environment. Devnandan is excited to be attending the center where he often spends his time playing soccer with his friends.
