Champa lives with her parents, a sister, and a brother in a home constructed of wood with a tin roof; they cook over a wood fire, get their water from a tube-well, and light their home with oil lamps. Her father works as a carpenter, so the Amgram Village School has been a wonderful blessing in supplementing the nourishment and medical care of Champa. She helps at home by assisting her mother in the kitchen. Champa excels at language studies and math in school and wants to become a nurse.
